Virtual IWalks are a unique multimedia educational experience that contextualizes and humanizes the history at sites of memory by using testimony, photographs and maps to engage students. Virtual IWalks in IWitness deepen student learning through guided questions, whose results can be assessed by educators.

Despite the Nazis’ attempt to dehumanize their victims, Jews steadfastly maintained their humanity in the face of almost certain death. Even in concentration camps, Jews resisted the Nazi plan of annihilation by protecting their dignity and resisting, including through violent uprisings in multiple death camps.

Senate Bill 1828 charges the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission with developing or approving materials for a statewide Holocaust Remembrance Week. Provided is information on best practices and various lists of approved resources.
