The Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission (THGAAC) seeks to grow a volunteer network to enhance public awareness of the fight against antisemitism and the continuing significance of the Holocaust and other genocides. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the THGAAC.
Volunteer Opportunities
Grant Scoring Committee
The THGAAC awards grants to Texas non-profit organizations that support its mission. The Grant Scoring Committee carefully evaluates grant applications and makes recommendations for approval to the commissioners of the THGAAC.
Speakers Bureau
Speakers agree to share, in classrooms, seminars, exhibits, or workshops, their verifiable knowledge and experiences regarding the Holocaust, genocide, or antisemitism.
Note: If you apply to volunteer specifically for the Speakers Bureau, you will need to provide the contact information of two references.
Special Events
The THGAAC connects volunteers to special events, such as commemorations, memorials, presentations, or exhibits, throughout the state of Texas.
Should any of these volunteer opportunities interest you, please consider filling out the THGAAC Volunteer Form.
Special volunteer inquiries can be directed to THGAAC Regional Coordinator & Volunteer Specialist Lauren Fryer via e-mail or at 512.463.0783.
