However, the town of Oświęcim, Poland, in which the former Nazi killing center is located, has a rich Jewish history of its own that predates the camp. Before the war, Jews made up 60% of the town’s population. Today, there are no Jews living there. The THGAAC sends out a quarterly newsletter in order to provide information on past and upcoming events. E-mail blasts with deadlines or when grant applications are available are also sent periodically.
