U.S. Film Premiere Triumph of the Heart

Join the University of Texas at Dallas on Monday, September 8th for an evening you won't want to miss. Triumph of the Heart is a feature film about St. Maximilian Kolbe and his companions’ triumph over death.

The Ackerman Center and the Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, and Technology at UT Dallas are proud to be hosting the red-carpet film premiere of this extraordinary true story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Catholic priest who volunteered to die in place of another at Auschwitz.

The evening will begin with a Red Carpet experience for our VIP guests, followed by the premiere of the film, some words from the director, and a reception.

Attire is Black Tie Optional. We encourage guests to dress within our Polish color theme of red, white, and black. A moodboard for attire inspiration can be found here.

9:00pm VIP Reception (ages 21+ only, includes an open bar and hors d'eouvres)
