Approved Lesson Plans

SB 1828 assigns the THGAAC the task of approving lesson plans that can be used in the classroom and allows Texas school districts to decide which materials are age-appropriate for their students. All lesson plans from the following organizations are approved:
  • Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
  • Echoes & Reflections
  • El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center
  • Holocaust Museum Houston
  • Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio
  • United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
  • USC Shoah Foundation
  • Yad Vashem
