Focusing on the experiences of Asian and Jewish immigrants to the United States, this Echoes & Reflections webinar will explore the problematic nature of the word to describe a process of how people adapt, fit in, and learn to become “American,” and the obstacles they face in trying to do so. Guest speaker, Ting-Yi Oei is the Education Director for the 1882 Foundation which seeks to illuminate the history of Asian Americans in the United States.
