Details | Albert was not even two years old when his family escaped Paris amid gunfire during the German invasion. After returning to Nazi-occupied Paris, Albert’s father was later deported to a forced labor camp and the rest of the family spent the war in hiding, sometimes in poor conditions and on the run. Learn about Albert’s experiences as a young child fleeing with his family while separated from his father. Speaker Moderator Watch live at youtube.com/ushmm.
