Details | Ruth Rotkowitz is the child of Holocaust survivors from Austria and a member of the Phoenix Holocaust Association. She holds a BA and MA in English and has taught English and writing on both the college and high school levels. Ruth's writing has been published in a number of anthologies, and she served as a member of the editorial board for the now defunct Woman's Newspaper of Princeton. Much of Ruth's writing is informed by her understanding of the Holocaust and her experiences as a child of survivors. In Escaping the Whale, her first published novel, Ruth addresses the issue of inherited trauma and its impact on future generations. This is the third program in Voices of Hope's Virtual Winter Series. Register here. |
