HMMSA Secondary Holocaust Education Workshop

Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio (HMMSA) invites educators to join them for one of three virtual teacher workshops on Zoom to prepare for Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week. All educators who complete a workshop will receive two State of Texas CPE hours and a professional development package including Our Voices, Our Lives, a book for the classroom about local survivors.

This two-hour workshop will provide a basic Holocaust history for secondary age students with a focus on tolerance, empathy, & pedagogy for grades 6-12. Holocaust Memorial Museum of San Antonio will provide lessons and ideas for Texas Holocaust Remembrance Week.
