Details | The conversation will take place on the online platform Zoom. A link to join will be sent to registered guests via email one hour before the start of the program. Join Dr. Charlotte Decoster, Director of Education at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, for a discussion on the development of modern human rights in the immediate aftermath of the Holocaust and World War II. This talk will highlight key figures, such as Eleanor Roosevelt, who answered the call for universal human rights in the late 1940s, as well as groundbreaking documents like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Then, learn more about the impact of this change in human rights history from the 1950s to today. The History Highlights series features Holocaust and human rights topics presented by Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum historians and educators. Space is limited!
