Details | In spite of the indescribable hardships faced by European Jews during the Holocaust, many found catharsis through writing poetry. This webinar, led by a Yad Vashem facilitator, will analyze examples of poetry from Echoes & Reflections and others that were written during and after the Holocaust which will provide deeper insights into that traumatic period in history. Echoes & Reflections delivers value to both experienced Holocaust educators who are supplementing their curricula and for teachers new to Holocaust education. Our webinars are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history, explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex history and its lasting effect on the world.
