& Reflections for a special presentation from Holocaust survivor Ben
Midler. Born in Białystok, Poland in 1928, Ben came of age during the
tumult of World War II. Ben was the only survivor of the Holocaust in
his family, forced to persevere through life in the ghetto and six
concentration camps. After the Holocaust, Ben moved to Israel and fought
in the War of Independence in 1948. Decades later, Ben wrote The Life of A Child Survivor from Bialystok, Poland to document his experience during the Holocaust. Join Ben as he shares his story of survival. Register here. Echoes & Reflections' webinars
are designed to increase participants’ knowledge of Holocaust history,
explore and access classroom-ready content, and support instructional
practice to promote student learning and understanding of this complex
history and its lasting effect on the world. |
